As we boldly go where no other podcast called "The Beanholes" has gone before, to the far reaches of space, to talk about the original series of Star Trek.
This week, we go over the decades long attempt to bring a third Ghostbusters adventure to the big screen, the times it almost happened, the possible stories, and what lead to the polarizing new 2016 reboot starring Kristin Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.
This time we're in a car......again, and we're talking some Ghostbusters and trying to find some Ecto-Cooler even if the search kills us and everyone we care about.
This week, Eric and Nate go into the incredible life of one of the greatest children's writers of all time, the man behind Matilda, The BFG, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl.
The Beanholes may not be fighting aliens this week, but that's not going to stop us from talking trash about them! This week we talk about the classic 90's sci-fi disaster movie, "Independence Day".
This week, The Beanholes delve back into the wonderful world of Walt Disney, and down into the depths of the ocean, as we talk about the Disney and Pixar movie "Finding Nemo", and also featuring our special guest, Disney fanatic Samantha Calkin.
This week, Halloween comes a bit early for Eric and Nate as they delve into the supernatural to discuss the controversy and cases of world famous demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, whose experiences helped major motion pictures such as The Amityville Horror, A Haunting in Connecticut, The Conjuring, Annabelle, and the newly released The Conjuring 2.
This week we talk about the legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Eric and Nate go into everything from the comics, the 3 animated series, the long running film series, and a bit of turtles trivia that will kick your shell. At the end of the podcast Eric will also have a small spoiled review of the new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
In a very special Beanholes Extra, Eric and Nate interview two writers who embarked on a journey from fan fiction forums, all the way to submitting ideas to Nickelodeon. We talk to Ryan Fortier and Edward Pace about the experiences they had working with the former staff of the Nickelodeon Nicktoon "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" on a possible 4th season of the cancelled show, and what it was like preparing scripts for the eyes at Nickelodeon. If you're into writing, animation, or both, this is not an interview that you'd like to miss.
This week instead of our scheduled take on the X-Men comics, Eric and Nate will instead take an extended look at Apocalypse the villain of the new movie "X-Men: Apocalypse". We'll look into his comic book origins, some of his stories within the comics, and how he'll fit into the X-Men film series.
